Women want to look amazing. All the time! She may be partial to one product she feels works wonders for her or it may be a combination of different ones. Speaking with different women, I've heard them say, 'oh, once I have my blue eyeliner, i'm fine' or 'once, my brows are done and penciled in, i'm happy'. To each his own, right? The best way to find what works for you is to try out different makeup items. Don't be afraid to explore. Changing everything all at once has the effect of either being too much for you personally or you get excited for a few days but find out later that you're back at your old regime. You find yourself  citing reasons such as 'it was a lot of work' or 'I don't have time'. It is best to start with one or two items and then gradually ease into your desired change. The last conversation i had with you was a smile and a wave as i walked past your close on my way to catch the bus to work. Besides lip makeup of different textures and types including lipglosses, which many consider to be a must have makeup item for every girl, the next in-demand, must-have makeup item is powder. Even as teens, we wore white powder to keep our faces smooth and shine-free. Then, we graduated to slightly coloured powder in the same cylindrical shaped cases that we carried around in our bags. The present brand being, 'Florentyna'. Then, we moved to Cornsilk's translucent powder. In those days in Lag, everyone had that nice powder that kept your skin looking matte and we were happy. hello people, have you guys seen 'Alice in wonderland'? it may not be a first choice movie for a lot of people but having Johnny Depp in it definitely rouses interest. i watched the preview and i was like, another Johnny Depp movie? It has got to be fabulous. And i was not disappointed. I loved his potrayal of the hatter. He asked alice, 'have i gone mad?' to which she replied,'i'm afraid so. you're entirely bonkers. but i'll tell you a secret. All the best people are'. I really loved his makeup. it was so so creative and it lent his face chracter and he was spooky and adorable all at the same time. When i saw his face, i went, gaga. i was so wowed by it. i've read so much about this movie and my favorite character is the Hatter. i love his humanity and his wisdom. he almost made me cry when he said alice wouldn't remember him when she goes back to her normal life.

this blog is supposed to be about makeup but i can't help but digress a bit here. i love watching movies. i think i watch too many movies. i saw 'the blind side' yesterday and i love it. the character i was most endeared to was SJ. He was amazing. he had a lot of self confidence, a fearlessness, a belief in Micheal to play football well. i smiled at the sight of him coaching Micheal and doing a good job of it too. He called him his big brother before everybody and didn't care about public opinion. he was really good. He made me smile and i loved the way he negotiated with the coaches who came to sell their colleges to Micheal. he was amazing.
